Science Conference in Boca Raton Florida to Hack the Universe

Boca Raton, Florida (August 3, 2015) – The John Chappell Natural Philosophy Society (CNPS) is announcing its first annual conference to be held at Florida Atlantic University from August 5 to 8, 2015 in Boca Raton Florida. Members have been meeting annually for over 20 years and the theme of this new organization’s first annual conference is entitled “Science, Society, and Consensus” and will feature a roundtable discussion featuring Dr. Andrew Bartlett, a sociologist from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom.

The conference will feature CNPS members presenting papers on the latest dissident science subjects including gravity, ether, cosmology, expansion tectonics, structures,  and the philosophy of science. There is also an annual banquet honoring scientists and filmmakers working outside the mainstream.

UniverseHack1.1

On Saturday, August 8, from 9 am – 5 pm, in the House Chambers at the Florida Atlantic University Student Union, CNPS scientists will lead Universe Hackathon 1.1. Given only a few basic assumptions, scientists are trying to reconstruct the entire universe. The basic assumptions include infinity, space, mass, mass in motion, and pushes (no pulls or attraction). Bob de Hilster started the first Universe Hackathon in July of 2015 with a solution for the gravity and light using only moving mass. Next step: the structure of atoms.

This year’s conference will be in conjunction with the First Annual SciFlix Film Festival celebrating films, documentaries, lectures, and edutainment videos whose subjects are often outside the mainstream.

Registration for the conference is open to everyone interested in science. Cost is free to Florida State University students and faculty with ID, $125 for members, $175 for non-members and all registration and payments are handled online at their website at http://www.naturalphilosophy.org. Or contact David de Hilster, david@naturalphilosophy.org or call 310-991-5744.

About the John Chappell Natural Philosophy Society

The John Chappell Natural Philosophy Society (CNPS) is a world-wide think tank of scientists, professors, engineers and layman who goal is to challenge mainstream theory in physics and cosmology. CNPS founding members have been meeting annually for over 20 years and in 2015, started a new organization in honor of John Chappell, a modern-day pioneer in science that challenges the mainstream.  Members dispute theories such as the big bang, black holes, relativity, and plate tectonics as well as introducing new theories on structure, gravity, expansion tectonics and aether. For more information , see www.naturalphilosophy.org or call 310-991-5744.

About the SciFlix Film Festival

The SciFlix Film Festival was created in 2015 to showcase science films and filmmakers that challenge mainstream science spanning the topics of scientific injustice, new science, challenging mainstream science, and science conspiracies. SciFlix employ scientists working outside the mainstream to act as screeners and judges to all festival films alongside film experts to provide a unique critique to all film submissions. For more information, see www.sciflix.org or call 310-991-5744.
